Finance Committee

The Parish Finance committee meet on a regular basis to support the activities of the Parish by managing its financial resources.

The role of the committee in Kimmage Manor Parish is Advisory and to provide assistance to the Parish Priest on financial matters.

 

In particular the committee, who meet 8 times a year -

  1. Reviews the details, trends, and signs off on the draft annual accounts.

  2. Examines trends in the Family Giving - envelopes, standing orders - what’s up / down.

  3. Reviews quarterly balances in bank accounts and makes any suggestions re same.

  4. Makes sure that church insurance is in place.

  5. Suggests to the P.P. to make available to the parishioners a summary of the key elements of the annual accounts. For example, posting a one-page summary sheet on a notice board at the back of the church.

Pastoral Council (PPC)

The present Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) was formed in 2023 and is undertaking its collaborative work guided by our (Mission Statement).  At the beginning of each year we have a Parish Assembly, and the Feedback from that gathering gives the PPC its mandate for the year.

The members are Julie O’ Neill (Secretary), Fr. John Mahon CSSp, Patrick ‘Pat’ Cahill, Deirdre Behan, Stephen Croke, & Fr. Joe Poole CSSp (Temporary Chairperson)

Our PPC meets monthly alongside meetings with our Parish Partnership group which includes St. Pius X, Templeogue; St. Jude’s, Willington; Holy Spirit, Greenhills; & St. Joseph’s, Terenure parishes. The council can be contacted through the Parish Office or Fr. John.

There is a Suggestion Box in the church, the PPC respond to and are grateful for all that is suggested.
